Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Folded as a host, guest, or visitor. By using Folded, you agree to them.

Using Folded

Folded lets event hosts create event galleries, share upload links and QR codes, collect guest photos and videos, view galleries, run eligible slideshows, and download media as ZIP files.

You may use Folded only if you can form a binding agreement and will follow these Terms and applicable laws. If you use Folded for an organization or event business, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

Accounts and event links

Hosts are responsible for their accounts, event settings, event links, QR codes, and the people they invite to upload or view media.

Guests do not need an account to upload through an event link. Anyone with access to a link may be able to upload media or view a public gallery, so hosts should share links carefully.

You must not attempt to access another host's private event, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or use Folded for spam, malware, harassment, unlawful content, or other abusive activity.

Plans and one-time payments

Folded plans are sold as one-time payments for the number of event slots shown at checkout.

Current plans include Intimate, Celebration, and Forever. Intimate and Celebration include 1 event slot. Forever includes 3 event slots. If you need more event slots, you must purchase another plan.

Each plan includes unlimited guests and unlimited photo and video uploads, subject to event upload windows, storage expiry, file handling limits, fair use, and abuse prevention.

Intimate includes uploads until 15 days after the event date and storage until 2 months after the event date. Celebration includes uploads until 45 days after the event date, storage until 6 months after the event date, and live slideshow. Forever includes uploads until 180 days after the event date, storage until 1 year after the event date, and live slideshow.

All downloads are provided as ZIP files when available. Very large galleries may take longer to prepare or may require operational limits to keep the service reliable.

Payments, taxes, and refunds

Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers or complete payment instrument details.

Prices, taxes, fees, currency conversion, and payment availability may vary by location and checkout context. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information.

Refunds are handled at Folded's discretion unless required by law. We may refuse refunds for misuse, completed service delivery, excessive use, or requests made after substantial event activity has occurred.

Media and content rights

Hosts and guests keep their rights in photos, videos, names, and other content they upload or provide.

By uploading content to Folded, you grant Folded a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, download, and delete that content as needed to operate the event gallery and related features.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload the content, including permissions from people shown in the media where required.

Folded does not review every upload before it is stored or displayed. Hosts are responsible for moderating their event galleries and removing content they do not want associated with their event.

Storage expiry and deletion

Event expiry is calculated from the event date. If no event date is set, Folded may use the event creation date or another operational fallback.

After an event expires, uploaded photos, videos, cover images, and associated upload records are designed to be deleted automatically. Deletion from backups, logs, caches, or third-party provider systems may take additional time.

You should download and back up any media you want to keep before your event expires. Folded is not responsible for media you fail to download before expiry.

Service providers

Folded relies on third-party service providers for hosting, database, storage, authentication, payment processing, security, logs, email or support workflows, and other operations.

Service availability may depend on those providers. Folded is not liable for failures, delays, interruptions, or data processing by third-party providers except where required by law.

Service changes and availability

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of Folded at any time. We try to avoid disrupting active events, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may remove content, disable links, restrict accounts, or refuse service if we believe the service is being misused, creates risk, violates these Terms, or may violate the law.

Disclaimers and liability

Folded is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Folded will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or replacement services.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Folded's total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid Folded for the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of Folded after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
