When a host creates an account, we collect account details such as email address, display name, profile information provided by the sign-in provider, and authentication identifiers.

When a host creates an event, we collect event details such as event name, display names, event date, gallery privacy settings, plan selection, cover image, and the custom event link.

When a guest uploads media, we collect the uploaded photos or videos, file names, file sizes, file type, upload time, and uploader name when the host requires or the guest provides it.

We may collect technical information such as device, browser, IP address, request logs, and error diagnostics to keep Folded secure, reliable, and working correctly.

We use information to create and manage event galleries, generate guest upload links and QR codes, process uploads, provide ZIP downloads, run eligible live slideshows, and apply plan-based storage and upload windows.

We use account and technical information to authenticate users, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, respond to support requests, and improve the service.

We use payment-related information to start and reconcile one-time purchases, issue access to plan features, maintain records, and handle refunds or disputes when needed.

Folded uses third-party service providers for hosting, database, file storage, authentication, email or support workflows, payments, security, logging, and similar operational needs.

Payment details are handled by a third-party payment processor. Folded does not store full card numbers, bank credentials, or complete payment instrument details.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to Folded, comply with law, protect against fraud or abuse, and maintain their systems.

Event media is stored according to the host's plan. Intimate events expire 2 months after the event date, Celebration events expire 6 months after the event date, and Forever events expire 1 year after the event date.

Guests can upload until 15 days after the event date on Intimate, 45 days after the event date on Celebration, and 180 days after the event date on Forever.

After an event expires, Folded is designed to delete uploaded photos, videos, cover images, and associated upload records. Backups, logs, caches, or provider-retained copies may take additional time to clear.

Hosts can manually hide or delete uploads before expiry. Guests should contact the event host or Folded support for deletion requests involving their own uploads.

Event galleries are private by default. A host may choose to make a gallery public to anyone with the event link.

Anyone with the event link may be able to upload media, view a public gallery, or access enabled event features. Hosts are responsible for sharing event links with the intended audience.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Hosts can update event settings, hide or delete uploads, and download their gallery while the event is active.

You may contact Folded to request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information where applicable. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

You can stop using Folded at any time. Some records may be retained where needed for security, legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

If you believe an event link or account has been accessed without authorization, contact us promptly so we can investigate.

Folded is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect account information from children under 13. Event media may include children when uploaded by hosts or guests for a private event.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
